Destin Palms Real Estate is thrilled to announce the addition of two new Realtors to its talented team. Michael and Leandra Lardner, property owners in Miramar Beach since 2001, have moved to the Emerald Coast full time. The Lardners have lived in Illinois, Tennessee, Georgia, Ohio and New York following their television careers across the country.
Michael is a multiple Emmy award-winning television producer, who most recently was a senior vice president at Madison Square Garden in New York City. He has created reality shows, documentaries and sports channels. He is related to academy award winning screenwriter Ring Lardner, Jr.

His magnetic personality and enthusiasm clearly showed his passion for the real estate industry,” said Michael. “Equally impressive, were his short and long term strategies to grow the business. Leandra boasts an award-filled career in front of the camera and has notched her place in history as the first woman to do the television play-by-play of an NBA game and she provided the play-by-play call for the first ever televised SEC women’s basketball game between Tennessee and Auburn. Leandra is also a producer and talent coach for aspiring, and established, broadcasters.
Michael also spent several years in charge of new business development at Madison Square Garden and thus brings numerous strategic and management skills to Destin Palms. With their multiple relocations, the couple has bought and sold more than $3 million of real estate. Marketing, video production, photography and presentation are their strengths.

Like most visitors to the Emerald Coast, the Lardners became enamored with the sugar sand beaches and crystal clear water. Vacations became longer and recently they were able to commit to the area full time.

We love the architecture, landscape, recreational opportunities and the friendly people that we see on a daily basis. It’s simply a great place to live,” said Leandra.
