I am Mark Wichern and I am running to be your next Representative for U.S. Congress. I am a registered Republican but running as a No-Party-Affiliate (NPA). I do not believe having either John Boehner or Nancy Pelosi as my boss is beneficial for our people in District 1.
Our current congressman has voted 96 percent of the time with his boss. These votes included: giving District 1’s BP money to the Federal Government, funding Obamacare, funding Planned Parenthood, funding the Syrian Rebels, funding the United Nations (UN), supporting the Indefinite Detention of American Citizens, supporting the Patriot Act, arming Iran and Syria, out of control spending, raising the debt ceiling, and the list goes on. How does any of the above benefit District 1? It doesn’t. Therefore, I have chosen to run NPA so I can represent what you, the member’s of our communities, want.
I have spent the last 20 years of my life building successful businesses and helping many others do the same. Specializing in developing systems and procedures, I have been able to duplicate my success with many other businesses. My plan is to do the same with District 1. We need a self-sustained economy that thrives all year and not just during the vacation months.
In the past six years I have studied and taught the basics of Keynesian and Austrian Economics as well as history. I truly understand our current, corrupt, debt-based monetary system run by the Federal Reserve private bank.
The Federal Reserve effectively transfers all of the wealth out of the middle class; thus, making basic survival nearly impossible for the poor and elderly. I also understand the unconstitutional Federal Reserve’s private collection agency, the IRS. This corruption must be stopped before we destroy our economy and lose our sovereignty to the UN and/or the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
This issue is absolutely the most central and important issue facing America. Most Americans do not understand how this corrupt system impacts them every day, as well as, our children’s future. I plan to develop training courses on these issues so that every person in our district, and across our nation, can be well informed and ready to protect our future. The debt-based monetary system may be the most important issue to address; however, the most urgent issues are securing our borders and saving our veterans. Our borders are wide open. As we’re witnessing, anything and everything can come across our borders; including a deadly disease, terrorists, or dirty bombs.
The policies that Congress have enacted such as the “Free Trade Agreements” have not only dismantled our economy, but Mexico’s as well. These trade agreements call for the free flow of goods, services, and labor (people) across all borders. To make matters worse, the U.S. Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE) is shipping illegals all over our country and Congress is allowing this to happen! How can every person in the country not be enraged?
It is no wonder Congress’ approval rating is only 9 percent. They need to be replaced. This includes Congressman Jeff Miller, who happens to be the Veterans Administration Oversight Committee Chairperson. Our veterans are dying. The men and women who served our country and protected our very way of life, are dying in the hands of this poorly managed bureaucracy. As the Oversight Chair, the buck stops with Miller. He has done virtually nothing, even after the scandal was broken by the media. Now, he is trying to portray himself as their savior. Our veterans deserve better.
I want to see that our veterans receive medical coverage that will allow them to go to any doctor or hospital of their choice. We can move the VA hospitals to the private sector, so no one loses their job, while removing the 75 percent-plus overhead cost out of the budget and use that money to provide benefits to our veterans. Our current active military needs to engage in this issue as they are going to be veterans someday.
So what is my plan as a freshman congressman running with no party affiliation?
To continue to have town hall meetings throughout the district so I always know how you want to be represented and to make your opinions relevant again in Washington. Come out and meet me in person. The Meet the Candidate Event schedule can be found at: http://www.wichernforcongress.com/events/
To defend our district and state sovereignty against Federal intrusions using state jurisdiction authorized by the U.S. Constitution. This includes the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and other federal agencies that are stealing our land and water ways as well as our fishing and farming.
To work with District 1 and the Oath Keepers to develop constitutional qualifying systems for our local and national representatives, to make sure they will adhere to the Constitution.
To work with Constitutional State Representatives, County Commissioners, Sheriffs, School Boards, and most importantly, THE PEOPLE of District 1.
To develop a history training course regarding the unconstitutionality of the 16th and 17th Amendments, and the steps necessary to preserve our Republic as it was intended. These amendments have caused a departure from our original founding principles.
To develop training courses on all of the trade agreements and what they are doing to the United States and eventually to our sovereignty and well-being.
To work with small businesses to develop the systems and procedures necessary for new anticipated growth and expansion without interference from burdensome federal regulations.
To develop a not-for-profit organization for disabled veterans making ammunition. All profits from sales will go directly to our disabled veterans.
To discover other non-corrupt and constitutional Congressmen in Washington who are willing to work with District 1 to re-establish our freedom and State sovereignty.
To introduce bills to eliminate the IRS, phase out the Federal Reserve, institute term-limits, defund Obama Care, defund the U.N., repeal 16th and 17th Amendments, end Common Core, and repeal the trade agreements, in order to facilitate and expedite the influx of manufacturing and jobs back to America.
I have the plan, the knowledge, and the fortitude to be the leader that District 1 needs; but, everything starts with you. You, the people, have all the power to make a difference. Vote for me, Mark Wichern on Nov. 4 and together we will send a statement to Washington and show the rest of the country what needs to be done. We will lead by example, not force.
