A Change of Address

The original Destin Post Office has filed its paperwork and has officially changed addresses. The Destin Post Office, built by William T. Marler, served the community from 1934 until 1951. The building was eventually moved in the 1980s and became a museum near the Destin Community Center.

The Post Office was moved to its new home at the Destin History and Fishing Museum Monday afternoon.
