On the weekend of the Fourth of July, Flow Tribe, a young indie funk/groove band from
“We have so many good friends and family out there, so it is always a blast,” said vocalist and trumpet player of Flow Tribe K.C. O'Rorke.

The band’s progress halted when the members split ways to attend various colleges, but when Katrina hit in 2005, it brought the members back home. By 2006, the band was back together.
“Pretty much since 2006, we have just been playing and recording albums,” O'Rorke said.
Currently, the band’s next adventure is to complete building its own recording studio in order to release more singles. Most recently, Flow Tribe produced a new single “Walk like an Animal,” which they have been playing live for many years.
“I am really excited it about getting it out there,” said O'Rorke.
Still, O'Rorke said the band loves the response Destin gives its “back-bone crackin’ music.”
“A lot of people from
O’Rorke said the members are ready to bring everyone together, bring some funk to the people of Destin’s lives and wave that red, white and blue. Mentioning they might be preparing a couple of covers for these performances, O’Rorke promised a couple of surprises for their fans that weekend.
O’Rorke said, “Get ready, strap yourself in because it’s going to be another great weekend with the Tribe.”
