The former Club Overboard/Twisted Palm has been razed to make room for a new multi-use development slated to be called Sharktooth Commons. Here's what folks on The Log's Facebook page had to say about the former hangout.

Stan Andersen: Hello more traffic nightmares and accidents

Lauren Barron: I've always said that this place was cursed! Nothing has ever done well there for a decent amount of time.

Cheryl Ann: They need to keep going. This town and FWB looks like a dump.

Nicholas Nguyen: Many memories gone lol.

Crystal Lynn: Tons of great memories in them walls right there.

Layne Reynolds-Bonanno: Finally! Something else in that spot... it's been vacant for so long, nice to see someone decided to put something up there! Looking forward to a makeover there:)

Carrie Dickinson: Where we going to put all this traffic?

Roger Johnson: About time it was a dump.

Matthew Lovu: I have some great memories in Overboard.

Pamela Pinnix: I remember when it was Sharktooth the restaurant.

Steve McLaughlin: Before Nigel Manleys, the original concept was a steak house that served beef from Hawaii. Can't recall the name, but it didn't last long.

Erik Thompson: Ahhh the memories, thug hip hop night. Wacko euro night. The ever changing names. The failed comedy club, the arrests for fights, never mind the money pit that cursed location is. Lay some grass down and call it a loss.

Stan Hall: Finally it is sold and a new development is coming there to replace a eyesore, congratulations!

Chrishonda Terrell: The best club Destin ever had

Kevin Leon Murphy: Overboard brought me some of the best memories of my life. It was the best place ever, to watch UFC fights.
