The fourth annual Finest on the Emerald Coast — a readers’ choice program that allows our readers to make their selections for the area’s finest in more than 160 categories — begins on Saturday, Feb. 15. Like last year, all voting will take place online on a website created just for that purpose, FinestOnTheEmeraldCoast.com. Make sure to check out a special section inside today’s paper that includes details and rules for the competition. Online voting begins Saturday and continues until March 3 at 5 p.m.A winner’s celebration is set for Thursday, April 24 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at HarborWalk in Destin. During the event, winners will be demonstrating why they were chosen as the Finest on the Emerald Coast, and those in attendance will be able to taste, see and take home samples of the area’s “Finest” — with the beautiful Destin harbor as the perfect backdrop.
