A date change from the Fall to Spring for the Emerald Coast Boat Show is sure to resonate positively with area boaters interested in checking out the latest in new boating products. Slated for March 14-16 at the Emerald Coast Convention Center, the Emerald Coast Boat Show will offer hundreds of new 2014 boat models from the region's top dealerships, along with plenty of fun, family-friendly activities.

Legendary Marine, the No. 1 Ranked Boat Dealer in North America for 2012 and 2013 and the Emerald Coast's largest boat dealership will showcase more than 40 boats, including four brand new models: two new coastal fishing boats from the Scout Boats Dorado Series; the long-awaited Sea Hunt 235 SE Ultra with new slide dive door; and the exciting Quadski personal watercraft from Gibbs Sports Amphibians Inc., featuring its proprietary high speed amphibian (HSA) technology.

"We invite everyone out to the boat show," said Legendary Marine Managing Partner Fred Pace. "This is the largest boat show directly in our market, with plenty of great boats to choose from, along with breakthrough technologies.

"It's a bonus year for boating customers as manufacturers have ramped up their R&D and are introducing tremendous new product into the new boat pipeline," he added. "Many of our power partners including Yamaha and Volvo have launched innovative new technologies that make boating easier, more enjoyable and much more cost effective. "

Legendary Marine is also offering special purchase packages for new boat buyers exclusively at the show, including six months free storage at either Legendary Marina in Destin or North Light Marina in Niceville, free Pit Pass with 20 hour service, free value pack including tank of gas, Coast Guard kit and on-water orientation with captain, plus buyer's choice of either a $300 retail valued Fishing Pack from Half Hitch, or Water Toy Pack from West Marine.

"Active boaters or those interested in learning more about the boating lifestyle should definitely attend the boat show," added General Sales Manager Shawn Talpey. "There are  boats for every lifestyle and budget, and most dealers and/or manufacturers offer extra incentives at the show."

The Skeeter Experience Fishing Seminars will be held Friday to Sunday featuring several local fishing captains and experts, while the Empowered Service Seminar is Saturday only featuring factory representatives from Volvo and Yamaha, along with Legendary Marine Service Advisor Trevor Hardy.
